 Dinner at Cheryl April 11th, 2025 We had a wonderful dinner at Cheryl's house. It was a entertaining and simulating as always. I was disappointed that Sharon and Allan couldn't join us, but I have hope for the future.   Photo of Cheryl and Sean. They chatted together for a while before joining the group. At times the group came together to chat and at other times broke off into smaller groups. Laura and Christine were really happy to talk about the farm, how Christine was taken advantage of by her family or how Sean was doing with his cancer treatment. 

Burlington April 13 We finally made it over to Debbie and Rick's place. It was one of the first really nice spring days. Our original intention was to walk around the area, but we opted for beer and snacks on the porch. 👽 After a few hours on the porch, we went inside for a vegan dinner. It was a combination of oats, seaweed, humus and nuts. I had trouble with some parts of it and paid for it later with a bloated and upset stomach  Everyone else seemed to really like it. I brought deserts (tarts and melon). We ate some of the tarts, but forgot the melon. We listened to the harp, piano talked shop and so on. Debbie was really talkative. We talked about how disappointed she was with both her mother and father. I hope the conversation was cathartic for her. The others seemed to hold their liquor better. Jeremy smoked 3 spliffs while on the porch. I was concerned about his ability to drive, but he managed OK. All in all it was a wonderful day. Something I hope ...
